    Lead me someplace sans loaded fries monster shakes ghoulish burgers n sinful pizzas Find me someplace where cabs in serpentine queues inch not to ferry souls hiding hurried genes

    There hung a pair of jeans on the closet door Tired battered and beaten by shards of time Belt ends loop in conformity repaying a societal debt

    Small and big alike the engines hurtled past Adding to the vibrant color of chaos Lonely people staring out into the vacant Some with the fervor of a kindled hope Some others breeding a dose of despair

  • Pandemic Poker

    The windows to my future are Grilled, welded tight Curtains alternate between A brief hesitant flutter And an indifferent stillness

  • Migrants?

    They’d wrested it outta thin air Our cocooned, isolated bhks Insulated us from the elemental rages While their stories seeped in the sad We moved in to their makings

  • The infidels

    Many are a tale of them words infidel Some spurn woos and some negate advances Am left aching with a chronic numb pain That sure is to haunt me forever so again

    The fluttering crisp white sheet Mocks me in different lingos With a high decibel nonchalance Insinuating the abject failure Of words that refuse to play along

    There I stand defying the crossroads A multitude of them crisscrossing the punctuations Of time space and warped perceptions A very fluid immobility paralyses me Mired in a web of self deception

    Candles romance a destiny of their own Some in churches, pining for the heavens yonder Piety fanning their self destruct Some marking the flames of a mobby vigil With despair seething unquenchably within
